“Hello again!! It’s Deanne here with @petticoatjunctiontx Today I’m sharing a couple of things that have kept me sane during this stay at home time. These are actually things I do on a regular basis nothing new but what comfort it still brings!
First, I personally love reading my bible and studying God’s word, it brings peace and joy. One of my favorite scriptures is Proverbs 3:5-6. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and will direct your paths. What an amazing scripture to fall back on today. My trust is in God and I find peace knowing that God is in complete control. •
The other thing I love is hiking trails or at least getting outside walking 4 or 5 miles as much as possible. I love every minute of walking and being able to spend that quiet time thinking and reflecting on the day.
One more thing...it is so important to practice gratitude every day, just for today, pause, look up and see the awesomeness of everything around you and within you. There is so much to be grateful for every day! ”
